i dont care if they camp the gates, its when you start to fight them they all converge to the center crystal cluster and stay there. they will gather directly infront of you and wont fight at a distance grater than 350m. it like fish in a barrel, but at that distance it takes longer to kill them cause once you hit one they all move, then recenter again at 350m away. its kinda nice cause you can rocketspam and kill almost all of them instantly. it sux cause if you try to fight them next to the rocks its either you or them bumping into the rocks.
