"(Dueling)" In Sector List

Hows about when you hit "u" if two people are dueling than it says "(Dueling)" in the sector list?

or possibly "(Duel: <opponentname>)".

Yah. Good.

Since we apparently are all just too damn lazy to duel in places other than Sedina B-8.

I concur.

Actually, I like this idea (to note in the sector list if a player is dueling).

/me approves

Also, I think "u" should also display distance from object, which would really help in botting or levi attacks.

if "u" displays distance from object then it should only display objects within radar range.

I'd like "u" to show ship type of those ships inside radar range so I can use it to find the centaurs in those massive convoys.

Oh, and I think the duelling tag is a great idea too.

Werd on that, Martin. We've clearly got too many ships in a sector now to cycle through every ship in the convoy...

This would be cool. I'm not sure how difficult it would be.

i'm not certain if this would be 'enough' but i expect it would be easier to simply change the radar color for dueling oponents (curently it tags them as red during the duel regardless of the usual IFF system) to say yellow, or orange 9some color other than red or green.

duelists should cycle through the rainbow colours at all times. that ought to make people stop dueling in B8. everyone would kill them for the FRIGGING noice on the radar. :-)

Woo! First "interresting" now "cool"! My ideas are on a roll!

Wouldn't this just lead to people attacking dueling players?

Probably. I can envision folks whom we all know well purposefully looking for duels and upsetting them. But an indicator makes it CERTAIN that they are doing it on purpose at least, so there is no excuse.
