Last seen date

Nov 15, 2005 DragonEmpire link
Yes, this has been suggested before, but can we PLEASE have a last seen date added to the guild pages? One reason I want this so bad is because I want to clean out EnB and have no idea who to kick.

(The game already keeps track of last seen dates, so it wouldn't be too hard to add would it?)

An alternative would be to add a /guild last command, same in function to /buddy last.

How about:
Kick everyone who is not online at the moment, make sure you and your LT's are going to be around and accessible for 2 weeks or so, and then invite people back in when they decide to play?

If they don't play for like 3 months, then they won't miss being in a guild I suppose. When they log in they can be invited back...

Kinda what we did for [Itan]...

It may have worked for Itan, but it won't work for EnB. We did it once before and a couple people got really mad at us despite all the warnings. Besides EnB is too big, there are some players I never see do to them playing at different times than I.

Noted, last seen would be useful.

Hey Incarnate, since you're replying to every thread, how about some of the pinned ones? Like, say, this one: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/6494

I do read that thread periodically. Since it was clearly pinned, I didn't think it was necessary to acknowledge specifically. I'll revisit that when I get a chance to revisit Guilds in general, which includes revisiting the various interfaces for it and the like.

There you go DoF. I hope that's useful to you.

Heheh, you guys are like the NSA or something, always in the background, silently watching, statistically analyzing..

Pretty neat though :).

Me points at Alamar.

It's all his doing.

Thanks for that file Martin, but before I start cleaning EnB just how accurate is that thing? I see a lot of 'never's on there.

EDIT: Oh, and another thing that makes me question how accurate that thing is is that it lists EVERYONE as UIT.

Oh no, Inc's on to us! Wonder if I'll go to hell for removing a dev...

Hehe, and it's really accurate DE, if it says never then they have not been seen online since it started recording.

that thing is about as accurate as the VO website. so "rather". the resolution is five minutes. but, uhm, I don't get the same results as Martin (lots of non-UITs and what-have-you-not). hrmpf. okay, I'll try to make a public version of this, the question crops up now and then.

the issue for me is that I *would* prefer this information to be available to the guild leaders only, not to the general population -- but that requires some sort of authentification, which one *can* do via BLAK Hive, but at the same time, not everyone might wish to do that.

the data *is* publically available, so one can always ask if there is a reason to make the resulting information accessible only for authentification... comments are welcome.

Echelon, the BLAK.Hive is like the Echelon of Vendetta...

Lol oops. The resolution should be fine, but I got a bit carried away with a rogue regexp. That's why everyone is UIT. My bad.

If it says never, then they haven't logged on since Hive became operational, at least not for longer than about 1 - 4 mins.
