main map remodeling
I don't know if this issue has been addressed and ill say right now it is not a major one, But I do think a few features added on would be a nice addition. Such as when you click on a system a shot description comes up, how about adding onto that with some facts about the system such as:
Number of players currently in system: #
Current economic output: poor, fair, good, excellent
Poor: meaning little large money can be made here, minerals are in short supply or are to common to be of any real value, ship selection is limited heavly, and weapons are low in power, no large scale trading routes end here and little commerce takes place, this system/sector is economically in the dark, War and piracy could also be a nusance in this system, caution is advised.
Fair: The system is in a stable condition, food and suppiles are readily avaliable but extravagent items are rare and extremely expensive when you come across them. Mineral profits are not low but nothing to be proud of, low demand of supplies keeps the system from growth and a mediocre police presence allows pirates to hassle convoys often sometimes disrupting them and delaying shipments.

Just some more information about the system/sector/station before you arrive
For instance if you were to go to washington dc and stay at one of the hotels, wouldn't you want to know what was readily avaliable, what part of town it's it? is their alot of crime? how many stars is this hotel?

Giving away the state of the resources is going overboard. This will cause huge races to heavy resources and when the place is lower in resource value then some other place, another race will begin. This will kill exploring and the value of exploring. There will no longer be such a thing as a secret mining spot.

By no means do I support saying what minerals are in the area nor where they are, secret mining spots are in no way threathened by having some extra knowledge about the system.
