Option to enable multiple screens
I have dual tft's and would love to spread the screen accross both, either one view or a second camera angle.

I'd love to see this too, but in a slightly different form:
How about showing nav, toplist etc on the second screen?
Ofcourse, that would mean that people who have two screens would be able to plot a course while seeing everything that's happening in the sector, but really, would it matter that much?

We do have the option of "super-wide multi-screen" mode for people with Matrox Parhelia cards. But, we've never supported standard multihead, and that would be cool to do at some point. I prefer to have a couple of options, either making it a single wide HUD or letting the user display various other info panels and interfaces and such.
do you know anyone who uses a Parhelia for testing? I've owned one since about a month after its release and never used it due to crappy Linux support. :-(
We have a couple of Parhelia that Matrox sent us, although none of us use them anymore. It was tested with them at the time when we implemented it, and verified the triple-head functionality under Windows. I don't think it's supported on any other platforms.
triple-head even with openGL can be made to work under Linux, but you can't have XVideo or any other YUV-like translation done in hardware. so you can't play video fullscreen. kinda funny really, I could have an openGL app open over three screens, but not watch a DVD on one of them. drove me batty it did. =)
