I cannot express how sad I am, but I must lean more with Genka on this thread... The player-made ships thread is great, and represents much hard work, but I really believe that the ships should look better than the current ships in order to justify adding them.

As much as I think that some of the ship models put forth are better than some of the more basic ones in game (my rev c for example), I really think that this whole player made ships in game thing is a loooooooow priority.

More content and gameplay first, then maybe eyecandy when that is working well....

The devs are VERY clear that some people want player made ships. They've read and responded to the thread pertaining to player-made ships and have kept us informed about what the current priorities are.

We are not going to do petitions here. We'll soon have a petition and anti-petition for every hoped-for feature.

Please give the devs credit for knowing how to allocate their own resources.
