Being able to "go silent" would DEFINITELY be "More Funner".

So, yeah, any gravitic motion (use of engines) would make you show up as a "ship". Or if you were using active sensors, then you're a friggin' BEACON.

If you stop all motion and just drift, then you fade off and look like an asteroid. ?

What if you could defeat seekers by "going dead" - playing possum, essentially. Cease all course correction and just drift. The seekers would not be able to determine where you were and would continue on their last known heading, until you fired up the engines again. I think this would be a neat combat tactic.

each weapon has its remedy. If you invent a cloacking device then your enemies will invent better sensors.
So ... you can invent some advanced technics to avoid detection but what if you simply disguise yourself?
You create a fake bot to infiltrate hostile areas or buy some fake IDs. The result is same: you are invisible :)

PS: The perfect invisibility has a BIG drawback: its double blind. To see anything your sensors have to capture some energy. If you absorb energy then you have shadow and it can be detected :)
