A quick, simple, easy, non-unbalancing fix to the faction status problem
As I see it vendetta online is an amazingly awesome game. However there are a couple of things which require a minimum of coding and testing to fix/implement.
First of all I would like to see the problem with becoming un-hated by the lesser factions addressed. An EASY fix is to simply say that if you kill a hive bot, all factions with a station in that sector give you a slight raise in respect. I'm 90% this could be coded and implemented in a single day, and has absolutely no unbalancing effects whatsoever, given how little respect you gain from killing hive bots. Of course we would all like to see a much more in-depth faction program later on, but for now I think a great number of people would be very happy to see what I suggested implemented.

As it is right now, you only get faction when you kill bots in nation space. But if we were to add what you propose it WOULD unbalance the game.
1)You can bot up several factions at once.
2)You can bot in grey space and get faction.

Isn't botting in grey space harder?
I've got a better solution:

I concur Genka.
Genka's solution would fix the problem.
while the linked mp3 file was rather soothing to listen to, I believe that I just don't get it...
I don't think this is the ideal solution, given the reasons DragonEmpire gave.
Right now, the easiest "fix" would be to make all non-nation factions like Corvus, in that you cannot go past -599. And then get a better solution once the faction system is finally overhauled.

maabye botting in greyish space allows you to gain standing with local factions, but only if you are -601 or whatever with the faction, or better yet, make it so you can pay someone for docking rights that one time and trade guild your faction back up to a dockable level.
In respone to Dragon Empire's comments:
1) So what if you can get two factions up at the same time? Have you ever botted to gain faction standing? It is +1 standing for ~2-3 bots killed. It took me around 2 hours to go from -700 serco to -600 serco, believe me when I say that no one in their right mind would bot for faction standing unless they had no other choice. I personally would never bot for faction status except to become un-hated.
2) Currently everyone can easily get to admired by all factions and nations through trading, UNLESS you purposefully/accidently became hated by one of the lesser factions.
3) How does being able to bot in grey space and gain faction status hurt anything?

In response to Who Me's comments:
I would be perfectly happy to be able to bribe station guards and be allowed to dock. However that would require much more coding than the simple solution I proposed.
