/mute ### Command
I've run into numerous situations where I would like to see what's happening on a channel, but do NOT want to say anything on it, so I suggest the /mute ### command, ### being the channel number. This mutes your voice, but you can still monitor. Then with another /mute same-### would unmute your voice.
alias join100 "join 100"
alias joinprompt "prompt '/join '"
alias listen "joinprompt ; join100"
That should work for any channel except 100. Oh, and I changed the command to /listen, rather then /mute, because I would find a /mute command easy to confuse with /vote mute.

The /mute command:
For those of us with too much on our minds for self restraint!
Now all we need is a purdy billboard and a catchy jingle.

um... why can't you
/join 100
/join 23456
/join 100
/join 23456
but cp that is my patented channel :D
Genka: like Burmashave signs? :D
CP is correct. Simply /join the channel, and then join a different one. You can talk on the one you joined last, and monitor the one you joined previously.
Oh right ^_^ Sorry for wasting board space
