one exploit i know people hate is when people pop out of a station, fire at someone while invulnerable, then docking again. to solve this just make it so that the time your invulnerable your guns are disabled. so for x seconds you cant fire any type of weaponry at all. OR if you do fire your invuln automaticaly is gone.

another is people who portal log, as in hit logout when the cinematic for the portaling starts so when on the other side they disappear. when the cinematic starts the logout should cancel, just like if your moving or something.

anyone know of any other exploits and ideas to get rid of them please post them here

I like this idea, especially considering you can explain it realistically by saying your weapons are "warming up" or "calibrating" or something like that.

We had this the other day. There was four of us hunting Leathel.
And he would just undock, kill one of us (who was currently waiting for him nearby) then dock again. In the mean time he would be hit by an average of 9 rockets plus ions. Even When we placed 2 dozen lightning mines down, he stil was proctected for the first 3secs.And once again i apologise to everyone on at that time for the bad language used that night.

I must stress that this 'gang up on leathel' was fair, its called 'payback' with a taste of his own medicine.

Theres no honor in his game and constantly exploiting is certainly not fair on anyone.

/me looks up to the sky and ask's why their was no Vendetta police on at the time.

It was getting so annoying, was even planning to "Sacrifice myself" by hiding in the dock and ramming him out into space when he appeared :-)

True, would've been destroyed by splash damage, but it would have been a sacrifice for the nation.....

I got him 2 times that way, withouth rearming or repairing, I have to say that I had 8% left after the second attack, after first kill I had 80%.

But at that time he was trying to do his all famous lemming "srry lemming for the pun :D"

Oh well, just try to convince sui, to log in as me and have some fun ;)

because he really can't stand me, why I don't know, but he really can't stand me and even if I lift my voice in the chat once he is comming after me :D

not at all chewy, the point of this hread was to solve exploits.

1) leathal exploits
2) so he is difficult to kill
3) resolve: use what I have stated and he will get himself killed every time.
4) exploit solved :D

what they mean and I concur with it, is that a filter doesn't mean that you should swear more or conduct yourselve more as a jurk. A filter isn't a ticket that states, you're free to do everything. It's just a second line of defense against badmouthers.

And do you now who is the first line of defense against that? And no, it aren't the devs, it are your fellowplayers. A lot of people don't like that you or somebody swears and that is a reason why you could be killed over and over again.

So in short, try to behave as if you were talking to your parents "or at least to somebody for whom you have a lot of respect" and then everybody will leave you alone on some,excuse me for the badmouthing, bastards who won't leave you alone.

And yes, I know it is difficult, I even purpotrade this rule from time to time. It just means you have to do your best not to be upset, and recal that it is just a game.
