You should be able to pick up, Guns, ammo, ship scraps, etc. to sell back at stations, or equip as your own. also an abillity to disable a ship and board it steal money and cargo with out getting bounty (if you want to be a pirate) would be kinda, cool... maybe.... not.... kinda.... yea...

The only problem I have with disabling ships is that it isn't much fun for the player that gets disabled.

well, there could be a gun that can only disable ships under 10%. But only with this gun can you disable people, so you have to be careful. But there is 30 secs and then the other ship gets undisabled.
