Merging Group/Damage HUD
Switching between money/damage and group info in the HUD can be a pain. So why not merge the two together? So much unnecessary space is taken from the graphical damage indicator, when all you really need is a % readout. And money is money. So all you get out of that is two lines of text, leaving plenty of space for the group listing right below, with a possible decrease in font size for the group member names as well. I don't see this as any big of an obstacle as when the cargo HUD indicator was first introduced, when it was placed right alongside the ship's components. So why not?

/me is still waiting/wanting locational damage effects. With those the graphical damage indicator would be very useful indeed.
I like the graphical display. And I agree with Moofed.
I like it as is. It takes about 1/4 second to switch from group to individual display (I bound it to H (shift-h)), and that way I can only look at what's important when it's important.
