VO Website Suggestions
Right now the "Your Stats" page is pretty much a reflection of the information found on the scoreboards and guild rosters. It's just a quick rundown of basic numerical information, some of which really has no meaning besides just being cool. What would be nice is if the "Your Stats" page had the same information as your "character info" screen. That would probably be more helpful in determining your personal progress. How hard would something like that be to implement?
I was also wondering about managing player accounts offline as well. I've known games where you could edit personal information, create guilds, invite other players, and do all sorts of stuff through the website itself, rather than being required to log on and type in commands. I mean I think both options should be open, because there are certainly moments where a player, guild leader, or whatever just can't make it online, or doesn't have the time to find people and punch in commands.
Anyway, these are more long-term suggestions than anything else. I'd rather see in-game content be updated first than to see something like this. But I thought at the least it would still be worth mentioning, just to help make Vendetta even cooler and to get the community more involved.

Another website suggestion. An events calendar or bulletin page. I don't exactly now how it would be moderated or how you'd prevent people from spamming it, but I think it would be a great idea if we had an official place to put up player/guide-hosted events. It's often frustrating having to dig through forum threads to find out when some of these events take place. I know I've missed a few because of it. So maybe a calendar of some sort (a simple table even) can help organize this information. It doesn't even have to be anything formal. Heck, we could just have someone make a free calendar from an outside website and have it linked from here.
Bottom line though... continue announcing events in the forum, but also have a place where people can gather that sort of information real quickly. Date, time, and event. Boom, boom, and boom. Doesn't get any simpler than that. It would prevent a lot of people from asking the same questions over and over again, which I'd imagine would be frustrating to hear and repeat over and over again by the host. And perhaps the events can be announced in the station's in-game news system as well.

It'd be great if it was some kind of update-able page. Say devs, guides, and guild commanders could do this.
I know the devs despise phpbb-style stuff because of the performance (slooooow) but there IS a calendar function for phpbb.
Plus then we could wave at the programming update deadlines as they go whooshing by. (If the devs were brave enough to post a hard deadline for when releases would be. We could even be humorous and have the last day of the calendar year be "soon(tm)".)
