Leviathan/Hive Queen Hunting Missions?

Along the lines of joelsama's thread, "Suggested Alterations to Experience Points" ( see http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/10465 ), may I add to Harry Seldon's suggestion ( see http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/10465#120280 ) for adding Hive Queen hunting missions?

Currently, it seems that there are not enough opportunities for earning Combat Piloting License experience. The only opportunities for earning it are taking Basic/Advanced Combat Practice missions, Border Patrol missions, Assassination missions, Reconnaisance/Spy missions, and PvP, and, IMHO, most of those missions involve weak goals and boring, repetitive shooting.

On the other hand, there are relatively exciting battles available involving hunting Hive Queens and their accompanying minions, but no missions available to go with them.

I felt very disappointed yesterday when I single-handedly destroyed two entire Hive Queen fleets and earned thousands of points of Light/Heavy Weapons License experience, but not a single combat point. There should have been a way to earn combat points for clearing entire sectors of Hive Queens and their minions.

At the time, I was on a prospecting mission, and just happened to get an unexpected hint from another player about a Hive Queen in the same quadrant. Therefore, I did not have enough time to complete the mission without risking having the fleets disappear.

Given the time-sensitive nature of hunting Hive Queens (and, when added, most likely Levithians as well), it would also seem appropriate to allow players to take Levithian/Hive Queen hunting missions simultaneously with other missions. Otherwise, players who have just started a Van Azek/Xithricite prospecting mission may not be able to participate in time without aborting the current mission.

[stamp of approval]

Yes, we totally need more combat missions, and ones designed for groups as well.

Multiple missions when you're prospecting is also a logical additions, since prospecting is generally regarded as long and boring.

Yes, but AFTER the bot changes. We really can't go anywhere until something happens with the stupid bot cycle.

Why does the addition of a Queen hunting mission have to wait until after the bot changes? I think it should happen ASAP, in order to give us reason to do more stuff ingame, as opposed to "well, it's there, so let's shoot it."

A Hive Queen hunting mission has been on my wishlist for a long time.

Yes, those are coming. That was kind of the point in adding the Hive elements in the first place. The Hive needs to be tweaked a bit more before the missions come online. People get really annoyed when the missions are broken.

Can't wait for this! Could there be any part of this being added tonight by chance?

I've seen no announcement of an update for tonight.

I expect once the mission "builder" that Sarah Anne has mentioned the Devs working on is finished, a large amount of missions will begin appearing. among them those to hunt Queens and eventually Leviathans.

So as long as I can still annoy and shoot people up in-game, I can wait quite a long while for this.

i can never find where to post these suggestions!!!- so its going on this topic--
ok- is there any consideration for bots in a certain sector- their respawn rate?- i think that when you kill a bot in a sector- one shouldn't automatically take its place- maybe after 10+ mins or something like that--this also prevents one person killing 100 bots in 1 sector without having to leave- and maybe a group could go clean up bots in an ion storm because there is a mining team that wants to get in--
---also- i would really like to have a NOTES field or a THINGS TO DO list that you can pull up and edit/add/delete notes in flight or at a station- then maybe i can remember which bad guys to always look out for --
i knwo i have posted this in the completely wrong topic- maybe someone could advise the exact one to go to for suggestions?
