Some kind of popultion jamers ( for the pirate in people) also anti popultion jamers.
some kind of overview for seeing other players/npc depending on how you have it setup.
make more icons for the npc's/ players some thing like this [] for players and + for npc's (depending on the size of the npc or how hard it is make the + biger or smaller.

Shields are kinda an "eventually" thing, Armor repairers exist, but you can only use them to heal others, and weapon jammers...we'll see where that goes.
