I know that I, as well as others I know, have left the game temporarily (it's too good to leave permanently) and are not currently subscribed to VO but are waiting for something big to happen to re-subscribe.

Personally, I have been waiting for updates to come along to see what's happening in the world of VO. This hasn't been working because most of the new advancements don't need a user-update. So I'm like three weeks behind on what's going on. The "In Progress" section is very thorough, but too infrequent to get a sense of what's going on now.

I'd really like something either on the message boards or as an extra attatchment to the "Update" program that just has a few sentences, updated weekly, about what's going on. e.g.:

This week the UIT capital ship debuted. Also, a few new bots have been sighted. There was a rogue Aerna seeker flying through Sedina on Wednesday, killed by VOPILOT42.

Nothing fancy, nothing in-depth, just to the point. And it only takes about a minute.

I think this would help keep players both in-game and on break up-to-date.

Yeah, I don't think we need a lot. Just a few lines to show you haven't forgotten us.

the devs have hit the lotto and moved to new zeland for it's bountiful beauty and lack or itani pilots! we have been forgotten and left to debate why they are so quiet.... they will never answer!! :)

oh well, at least we have a fun game to play with.
