after major updates/new things to do, why not send out emails to all the players, informing them of the update, and maybe showing the changelog. This would get all the people who signed up, but have since stopped playing a great reminder that there is still stuff going on with vendetta, and to maybe try it out again.

There still needs to be more content. The latest news post makes it sound like theres a lot of new PvE content on the way. Have patience...

When we bring people back, it needs to be all at once.

Also, I don't know about you, but I wouldn't appreciate being spammed by a game I since stopped playing.

Indeed. Don't let the "active" numbers concern you. Guild has deliberately avoiding many of the resources at their disposal. Right now the "whisper campaign" is adequate for Guild's need. Rest assured that while Vendetta continues to grow in content, Guild holds the addresses of our less patient kindred who didn't get hooked the first time around.
