I finally got to participate in one of Lemming's Hive Invasions... very fun, but VERY gruelling.. people should get some form of recognition for distinguishing themselves in special events..

I imagine a "campaign ribbon" as having either a very small icon, or being on a separate page off of Character Info.. These aren't as important as medals, and more advanced players could accumulate large numbers of them

Finally, each ribbon should, just as in contemporary militaries, commemorate large battles that advance the game's meta-plot.. maybe not Hive Invasions, but epic campaigns that have wrought lasting effects upon the galaxy..
