Bot infested systems
Since there were many complaints that player actions don't affect the universe lately, I've thought up a little something that could change this. :D
A random system shows unusual bot bahavior:
- about 30% of the sectors contain a few high class bots (queens, hellmans ...). They are not aggressive (to not make them death traps for lower level players) but attack when shot uppon.
- These bots coordinate the bot infestion.
- They don't respawn when they get blown up.
- periodically lower class bots attack stations. (Strike forces take them out easily though)
As a result of these interferences prices at stations in these systems are extremely high, they sell just basic equipment, offer no missions and so on ...
To remidy the situation every of these high class bots has to be destroyed. After that everything slowly gets back to normal ... yey
There could be rewards for participation ... badges/money or something
This would be something that can't be done by a single player in an hour or day (80 sectors is a quite a lot to clean up) and actually has a bit of an impact on the universe. :D
