If you shot a neut, it's your own problem you can no longer dock in s9 and s7.
Should there be a way to rehabilitate yourselves? I think so anyway, but I don't see it as being as critical , as, say fixing any bug. Should it do that in the first place? Once again, my opinion is that, yes, the hit to reputations should be that big, or maybe even bigger.

I killed one NT and now I can't enter 6 without being KOS by the bots. Devs, could you reset the NT rating on Serco Fighter 1?

Right now the faction system doesn't read self defense, I killed a gold in 9 out of self defense and now i'm locked out of TPG sectors and NT sectors /6/3/7/9

The faction standings work like this:
Love (0-100%)
Like (0-100%)
Neutral(0-100%)
Dislike(0-100%)
Hate (0-100%)

where 0% Hate is Kill on Sight
and 100% Love is Unconditional Love.
So each of the 5 sections have a 0 to 100 percent value.
100% of one is basically 0% of the next one up and vice versa.

Well, yeah, but I'm Dislike 98%, which is oh-so-close to Neutral, but I am blacklisted and KOS in sector 6.

Well.. i acidentaly killed phoenix while he accidetialy fire to some NT folks in their buses.. and now i have Serco: hate 0%

raybondo: that is a very very weird thing since it involves having your reputation go from 2 to 97 % or other such jumps. Itd be much more intuitive to have a single scale that goes from 0 to 500 if you need that.

Internally it is a single scale.

So, hearkening back to the purpose of my thread.... is there ANY way I can increase my standing with NT, or is the loss permanent?

How's about changing the percentage into the total scale one, and keep the hate/dislike/love/etc thingy as it is?

Oh, and is it possible for an Itani to not get hated by Serco; else I should probably switch to neutral -_-

raybondo: Usabilitywise I'd suggest moving it to a single scale, and then adding the "word" description as a comment to it.
Serco 95% (loved)
NT : 55% (neutral)

and so on, since this leads to less confusion and a clearer image of how things relate. And its faster to compare and understand.

You must, 1) gather inventory of commonly sought after widgets, go to s6 and jettison them to NT pilots that need them for their trading missions...And, 2) buy pizza for 3 NT pilots.

it really does matter where you killed this NT... I've accidentally blown one up, but that was while I was botting in s12, so no penalty.
