So far there's an issue with the player client crashing during warp exit animation. The devs know and are working on it.
I was wondering why players got on the game so fast when I had a 126,351kb file to download....
I have a 45 minute wait...
I have a 3mg connection.
Closer to 4mg.
Version is current; verifying files...
resuming download of common/media.rlb
redownloading win32/vendetta.rlb
resuming media.rlb
I think its downloading too much..........

I got a media.rlb but its file type is a tmp.
And the other one is the one that's downloading and that one says its an rlb type...

1024 mg 400mhz ddr
Nvidia Geforce 6600 256 mg OC"D!
core: 300mhz - 550mhz
Ram: 400mhz - 600mhz
ECS Motherboard....
80 gig hardrive....
Linux on my other hardrive.... (but usin windows)

Also when I patched it said patch done and I went into the game. Then I put in my password and it said I had the wrong protocol...
Then I patched again and windows media player died and I had to restart.

Yes that sounds like too much. This issue has come up before during patches. Please post all of your specs (OS, system, shoe size)
In other news, the devs have isolated the crashing problem and are rolling out a fix at this moment.

For me the updater segfaults. The last thing I have time to read on the status bar is "Negotiating update to 1.2.5.1" or something like that.

I got a segfault too, also with the 64-bit updater. I reinstalled the 32-bit updater, and it worked for me.
Going back to the *gasp* 32b is not a solution, it's a workaround. ;) I'll just sit and wait for now.
Yeah, it's just a workaround. But it does work.
Possibly (or not) related, the 64-bit client also segfaulted on me when I "/navroute list".

A few things I noticed:
1)NPC's are broke.
2)SF's are broke. (And I died because of it, tried docking at the wrong station and got blown to smitherins by mines :))
3)I havn't tried it out for myself yet, (one reason being I can't take the mission without being in a group) but I hear people saying that BP is broke.

4) NFZ is broke too. You can kill any one near a station and get no faction hit at all. Even if you kill someone past 3000m from a station they still don't get a faction.
PLEASE FIX THIS NOW!!! I am tierd of dying instantly when i leave a station.

We just tested the faction hit thing, and it worked for us. Could you be more specific about your circumstances?
Sorry. I'll be specific. I leave a station some one put lmines down. I die. They get temp KOS to -601 faction. Then they leave and come back and get their faction back.
Or me killing someone right near a station and getting temp KOS and I get it back once I die. I was defending the station, my home station sedina l2.
Mecha torias managed to lose faction and went down to -908 but I’m not sure why. But no one else lost faction as far as I know today.
I think this should be fixed. If you kill someone right near a station or in the sector you should be severely penalized. I know death doesn’t matter but Black Glodclaw should not be able to rack up more then 65 kills by lmining exit ports of stations. And when told to stop by a guide he continues doing it some where else.

Has this happened anywhere besides Sedina? It will help a lot to know the scope of the problem. Ray and I tried it in Itan and it seemed to operate normally. Anyway, rest assured that we consider this important- probably the number 1 bug on the list right now.
I just "fought" racer (thanks racer) in azek I-12. He killed me and i killed him right near the station and we got no faction lost. The staion gaurds were there but didn't move to defend either of us.
Yes the Lmine thing is out of control and actually I weirdly took a perm. standing hit and I'd like someone to fix it seeing as no one elses faction took a hit. Yeah it's definatley broke and should be fixed I spent about two hours shooting lmines so that people could get through even after a guide told them not to do it. I died, they died, I got sick of it it wasn't easy doing what I was doing.

yesterday, and sedina l-2, tis' were the war was, bess, however Asked me to stop, and I did, so, bess, that was kinda mean to come back and make it sound like I was trying to ruin your fun >.<
oh, and when a1k0n first crash the server, we had a war there too, but no one got "stuck", everyone was having fun. same with yesterday in d-14, mecha was Roleplaying that he turned to the good side, Starbucks nija was taking over the station, he hired me after mecha claimed he didn't need my help, and with Dread Pirate Roberts, we had a blast. no one got stuck, everyone was having fun.
