So I was going to dive into this plugin but instantly I was confused! So here goes the noob question can you attach a iup to a player ship? I can make the iup with the info but only as part of the HUD so its suppose to be just name and guild tag above the players ship is this possible? It would be super helpful to be able to see the names of players maybe I'll delete targetless if this works!

No, that is not possible.

And offtopic, if you don't use the ore tracker in targetless, you might want to give MDI TargetList a try.
