Voupr.com has a nice system for listing/tracking plugins for VO, I'm wondering why more plugin-writers don't use it? It seems to me to be way easier to find things there than slogging through the forums here. I'm not suggesting that authors stop posting here, maybe announce here but place the plugin for download at voupr.com

Personally, I find it to be kind of clumsy. Sure, it's useful, but there's not a lot of backend support for authors to manage their plugins.
That may be true, but I think it's a lot easier to browse through the plugins there than in the forum threads here, which personally I find it maddening. It's about making plugins easily accessible to the average users.
I prefer to host the plugins myself, that site doesn't seem to allow to link to external downloads. I'm also not a fan of keeping old versions around.
There's talk about an auto updater. Is there actually such a thing?
