on a Microsoft surface ypu cant store the ore db from targetless to well, after a 10 sectors scanned it locks up the game and then you have to get into the file system to delete the ore db before you can play again.

I don't own a surface so not sure what I can do about it right now. If I do get a chance to play with one I will check this out.
