Axia Data Services is available for testing
Axia Data Services provides useful trade reports to help you make more money faster. Your data is stored online and shared between all users of the plugin.
This software is completely alpha. All reports are text only (no fancy shmancy UI stuff yet). Here is what works:
/axia help --displays usage of the axia command
/axia sells "item" --displays a list of stations selling an item
/axia imports --displays a summary of goods that this station needs
/axia exports --displays a summary of goods that this station sells that are needed elsewhere
All data is available online at http://axia.artfulcode.net - you can download the plugin there as well.
You can expect some bugs and lack of polish at this point, but I think it's in good enough condition to be useful. The more folks who use it, the better data the system will have. With better data, I can fine-tune the reports to make them more useful.

Aren't the station demand items provided by the game all wrong to begin with?
Somebody with more trade experience might be able to confirm this...

Yes, the demand items in the lower left corner are broken, but if this recorded and compared prices it could work.
It actually does both, and provides a report based on the margins. It just includes "in demand" data by default.
How does this plugin determine what items are displayed for each station? What does the value column represent?
Phaserlight, upon examination of the entire station list, it's likely they have to physically visit a station to gain the information. So their plugin simply does a read on the station in demand items an uploads the results. Kind of like what I did with Navcomp to get storm reports when docking with a station.
While trying to use this plugin I get the error message Connection Refused Just FYI
Yeah, it seems he's stopped hosting the server that runs the backend for this thing.
