Backstory in Japanese

Mar 12, 2012 Phaserlight link
There is now a working translation of the backstory in Japanese on the vo.wiki.

http://vo-wiki.com/wiki/%E6%97%A5%E6%9C%AC%E3%81%AE%E8%A3%8F%E8%A9%B1

I did this with the help of Google translate, and while I am sure there is still a lot of polish needed, I fixed all the errors that were obvious to me. All 12 sections have been condensed into 4 pages. In cases where there was no direct translation available, I tried to stick as closely as possible to the original meaning in English.

There is still a lot of work to be done (proof reading by a more experienced reader, and subsequent revisions), but this is a start. The pages are not open to be edited by anyone other than an administrator.

I fail to understand why this would be relevant?
Is there some Japanese community that I am missing?

Oh and thank you phase for that video tutorial on you tube... it was very informative and helpful despite being too long and boring...

Yeah, west of Saipan, east of Hong Kong.

Joking aside, it's not really relevant at the moment. It's more something I started because I had the inclination and the time. I've spent some fifteen odd years living in Japan, speaking their language, eating their food etc. and it's always been a part of my life. My hope is that one day it might be useful to somebody. It was also useful to me as a mission designer, as part of the translator toolkit Google provides requires going through the document one sentence at a time. Therefore I got to spend some time poring over the backstory.

I'm glad you got something out of the video tutorial also.

If you build it, they will come.

My thoughts exactly. Thanks for doing this, Phaserlight.
