I'd like to reintroduce the EvolvedOnes.com role play forum. I had to take some time off for rl reasons but I'm back to play. I've re-established my paid account and fly in game as [USM]Sledge (and maybe an incognito or two). I was wondering if some of you might like to register and help me get the ball rolling.
Evo is a comprehensive role play forum geared toward those who love to interact with other players in stories and in game events. Once I'm able to scrape up enough dough, I intend to begin sponsoring in game events such as escort missions, bounty hunts, and so on.
One interesting thing I've introduced in this forum is a credit system that allows players to earn credits for posting. I intend to seek the dev's permission to offer my own (in game) earned credits (and possibly credits donated by other players) to players in exchange for their forum credits, effectively making your forum posts pay you in game money. Credits can be sent to other forum users and even to a bank account (with interest!), allowing guilds to pool their funds.
Anyway, please check out the forum and join up if the urge hits you to be a part of some awesome role play.

Credits for posting? Yay spam.
No. Credits for making role play posts. Not spam. The "per word" bonus system makes one or two word (even ten word) spam posts virtually worthless. On the other hand, substantive role play posts can net you up to 20 credits per post. Only posts in role play forums count toward your account and probably tonight I will post a set of rp rules designed to maximize role play and minimize "out of character" spam (the core rule will be: out of character posts will be deleted along with any credits they net). Anyway, come try it out. It's a system I've successfully used in the past.
