I was just struck with the most brilliant of brilliant ideas.
I noticed how brilliant some of the screenshots are that get featured regularly on our front page and was thinking how cool it would be for those of us addicted to this game to have collages of some of the ships and stations in game that we could put on our desktops.

I am looking for any interesting ingame screenshots that you would be interested in sharing and the address to send either the pic too or a link to would be anubislord1@gmail.com.

Once I get some stuff together and looking reasonable I will start posting them here.

Also if people could please post their preferred resolutions I will endeavour to have the wallpapers in the prevalent resolutions and will do custom res requests as needed.

Just as an addition in this I will be giving 100m credits to the person who can get me the best stygian fury screenshot that I can use in the desktop project.

Non-HUD screenshots only and resolution of 1280x1042 or better.
The winner will be announced ingame and in this thread July 1st of this year.

I hope that this isnt breaching copyright or anything so if momerath or one of the other devs could please clarify what if anything needs to be done to stay in the good books in that regard.

My first guess would be that this is not a violation of their copyright as long as you don't try to sell your finished wallpapers.
The Dev's have always been rather understanding and allowed the community to use screen-shots as well as some artwork to create guild-pages, and community/fan projects.

To make sure you're strictly legal, I would recommend adding the "Copyright: Guild Software <Year>" in a corner of the wallpaper. Doesn't have to be very large, but something to indicate who does own the copyright to the game & artwork.

I'm sure the dev's could give you more information though if you still want it.

i like anything larger than 1024x768 but 800x480 is fine for the EeePC
