I have a problem with mr_spuck 's "umlautbind" plugin (http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/16/17115?page=6#285347).

I can succesfully execute a command by pressing "ü" AKA "ue" (e.g. "+Accelerate").

When I try to bind "Ü" AKA "UE" I am not getting any response on pressing that key.

The same is true for all the other upper-case umlauts.

I looked at the Lua code, but I didn't figure out a thing, that could help here.

Any other experiences or suggestions?

Works for me. Maybe your OS uses different codes for those keys.

If you run this from the console it should print out the corresponding code when you hit a key:

I tested this (nice line of Lua) and the response codes for each character pair is the same:
ö/Ö (f6)
ä/Ä (e4)
ü/Ü (fc)
(the "ß" (df) is working fine)

So I guess that your code is working, but VO isn't receiving these upper-case keys. I changed to alternative german layouts (eg. "IBM") but that didn't affect it. Switching to a "en/US" layout made those (physical) buttons available, but changing all language-specifics.

So I guess that there's nothing you can do. (I am on Win7. Error identified.)

Because on step 2 it does not say, that the plugins folder should be created in the already existing "files" folder.

To me "Vendetta Main Folder" is
.../Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendetta/

and not
.../Android/data/com.guildsoftware.vendetta/files/

as requested.

anyone else having problems with Targetless since last client update
when I log in it works fine but as soon as I jump to another sector it looses all roid positions
