Can confirm this, it's definetly a case of permissions being blanked from the files before they are put in the archive or during the archive creation. They extract to 0 permission, in other words no read, write or execute for anyone. It maybe only happens on Linux? I haven't tried on Mac or Win but it's reasonable it should happen on atleast MacosX also. My bet is on the auto-generation of archives on Itrac
I can't fix this right now, but it seems like it would be an issue with the code I'm using to automagically zip things up. As soon as I get my computers back and I'm settled in Monterey I'll hop on it and see if I can do anything about it.

may not contain all the plugins i don't remember what i downloaded then
(also made small change to makefriends so that hud will regain focus after dialog is closed)
