Boston Vendettites...
...I am currently in the process of scheduling an informal meet-n-greet at my place of "work" right off the Orange Line in Roxbury (that's Roxbury, MASS, RL :P~~ ) I'll have to bring it up with a few other people, but I doubt there'd be much of a problem, as we're actively recruiting volunteers at the moment...
I'm thinking a Saturday or Sunday, anyone have any comments?
(PS.. unfortunately, we only have one or two machines that can actually play the game :C )
edit:: blech, maybe this should be in Community Projects :/

Meh, I'll bring my T40. :P
Anywho, as for when... I'll have to get back to you on that.

::update- since I know some of you have school to worry about, let's schedule on a weekend...
Unfortunately, that means a Sunday, as Saturdays are usually very busy for us..

Busy as in lots of refurbing to do? I can help out, if you'd like (I do it at home, anyway). I'm A+ certified, not that it really matters... :D
aww... sorry to hear that, rogue... depending on how many schedule conflicts we eventually have I might add another session or two...
And to answer Tyrdium, I'd like to have a time set aside where as little else as possible is going on.. That way we can get everybody up to speed, on the same page, etc... the normal Tecschange Saturday is an exercise in applied chaos theory :O
I've talked with our Director, who seems fine with the idea... he just wants to get input from the steering committee as a formality... how far ahead do we want to set a date?

Heh, I see. Of course, I'd still have to check with my parents that this is okay... Anywho, I have spring break coming up; I'll check when I'm free (college visits to do). Over the summer would be good, too.
C'mon, rogue! You don't even know when it'll be! ;-)

Well, I won't be around April vacation. But I might be able to do it once I get my hands on a car. Time will tell.
..still haven't gotten the final green-light, but I'd really want to host the first greet either this Sunday or next, as it suddenly occurs to me that I'll be OOS (out-of-state) pretty soon after..
..regarding travel, the office is right off the Orange Line (Roxbury Crossing) as I said earlier, and is also very accessible via Commuter Rail. Comm-rail trains run as far north as Rockport, as far west as Worcester, and as far south as Providence, RI. Trust me: driving in the city is NOT FUN, especially with heaps of snow everywhere...
