Hah, I love Shpongle. I also listen to a whole lot of Shpongle. And Infected Mushroom. And some Astral Projection, Deviant Electronics/Solar Systems, Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, Auricular (I'm making a playlist right now)...
And you gotta throw in some Daler Mendhi and O-Zone for the "incomprehensible foreign language" genre...
Wide Angle is also a very good CD, which is curiously missing from the Guild mp3 collection. But (looking over everyone else's music) KMFDM, frontline assembly, VNV Nation, Enigma, and Yoko Kanno are not.

Lots and lots of XTC. And Crowded House sometimes. And U2 other times. And the Yardbirds. And Miles Davis... Hmm. I guess I don't make musical sense.

During my too long forced absence I re-discovered Anti Pop Consortium's "Arrhythmia" and discovered Illogic's "Celestial Clockwork". Although hip hop, they both have a technologic feel which should go fine with VO. I hope I'll be able to try it tonight.
