Is it just me, or have all the Featured Screenshots recently been of the Frigate? I so want to see that in-game...

We're so close I can see it already... or wait, that's the featured screenshot again.

I find it a bit strange that they advertise like it's been in game for years, yet since release we have had nothing of the kind…

Well, it WAS in the game before. They're advertising it cuz its the main thing they're workin on right now. At least from what I understand.

to be more accurate, the model of the "frigate" was in the game during the alpha. It was, uhh, unexciting; to say the least, so it didnt make it to the launch. Currently the devs are making it into something more than a cool looking destroyable asteroid, so they are advertizing it.

I liked it as a fly swatter with people trying to snipe it with avalons :[

Frigate or Capital Ship? I hear Cap Ships referred to as frigates and they definitely are different.

Capital Ship is the class to which Frigates belong. Frigates are the only type of Capital Ships that we've currently seen. Just to make things more interesting, the old "Frigate" might or might not have been renamed to a Battlecruiser.

we will always call it The Frig though, or for at least a month commonly.
