Aha, people are finally opening their eyes to the true terror of Gmail's invite system, namely that they figured out everyone and her sister would be after an account if they seemed exclusive. And now, everyone and her sister have one (at least), plus 50 invites, and they don't know ANYONE who doesn't have one already!

And with 50 invites, to boot.

Can't remember how many months ago was the last time I found someone who'd take one. These things are like puppies, very hard to get rid of once you've given one to all your friends and contacts.

It's no longer invite-only. You are automagically given a GMail account if you create a Google Account

Are you? I tried that, and the Google account I created didn't allow my to login to GMail.

So, Beolach, want a GMail account? You can't have too many of these LOL

Oh, I have about a dozen, but all of them were created from GMail invites. It was just when I setup a Google account w/out a GMail invite, I couldn't login to GMail w/ that username.
