A few nights ago a persons character was stuck in a sector due to a bug. It was late at night and about 50 people were on. He could have waited a day or two for someone to take care of it. But instead, he wanted to 'get the attention' of the devs, so he and an accomplice crashed a wormhole sector on a ctc route, ruining the game for a few dozen people, on purpose. Then he went 100 and lied about it being an accident. One of the guides had to get one of the devs up and clear the sector manually.

Grrrr. But before I become totally and completely on your side, you didn't provide any evidence that it *wasn't* an accident. How do you know that he and an accomplice crashed it on purpose? (Though...I'm not really sure how you can crash a sector on accident :p. (ignoring the fact that I once did that in s9. but yes.))

Just because this is the off topic forum doesn't relieve anyone from the rule of "be nice".

The sector(s) were crashed with the intention of reproducing a bug in various iterations and the person doing the crashing was under the impression that the sector(s) would reset themselves.

Once it was realized that the sectors needed Dev attention, they were notified.

Once again, "Be Nice".
