I had the privilege of seeing a1k0n's ship up close(and bumping into it a few times:)) and it was pretty cool. Do the other devs have special ships too?
Yeah, I think they have access to like capital ships and all that...
A1 just has to play with the server for em. they used to have a sector for buying all that stuff
Ok, I've seen: the UFO/Fury (though that's not a1k0n specific.)/frigate/short bus (though that was through a screenshot). Any others?
a1 was a cargo crate once
Hahahahaha, that's so awesome.
I'm still waiting for the garbage truck. :P
Yeah, but then we'd all turn into power lines and have to dodge him.
:D
*moves to Off Topic awaits bannination*
bannination?
Oh noes!
What did I do? ;-;

No, I'm talking about me, for mentioning the "Power Line Incident"
you didn't do anything, ctishman is making garbage truck jokes again...
for those of you not in the know... the Guild Software building is a stronghold of security. All of the data and electricity entering and exiting the building is kept above the heads of any infiltrators and piped directly into a window somewhere in the guild software offices. The sad news is that in this planning of security no one took into account the average height of a garbage truck, and no one bothered to calculate whether there was a collision in the numbers between the height of a garbage truck and the minimum height of the power/data lines when a load was applied to them.
or in english: A1k0n drove a garbage truck into the data lines and closed down vendetta for a day or two. ok, so maybe it wasn't a1k0n.. but I'm pretty sure it was.

Ahaha...Where the heck did he get a garbage truck? O_O
Actually, since a1k0n told us it was a garbage truck who conveniently broke the fiber to the building, we blame it on him!
Are you telling me in the year since I joined you never told me this story?
SL, yous gots some 'splainin' ta do.

He admited to it somewhere
Oddly enough I can not locate the original thread where the garbage truck originated, but you can do a search of the forums for garbage truck and you will get a couple threads involving it.
And I never told ya because you never asked about it!

that was well over a year ago, long enough that his post is long gone, however his post was classic andy
it went something like
"so, anyway there was this garbage truck cruising around the industrial park where we keep the server with its forks up in the air, and it sliced through the data cable that runs to our building and .... "

We're no longer in that facility in any case.
You know, for the longest time I had no idea what you guys were talking about when you kept saying I drove the garbage truck, and I just now saw my sarcastic remark.
The problem wasn't the height of the cables over the street. The problem was some idiot left the forklift things sticking straight up in the air.
