ARGG NONONONONO!!!
My court date for "reckless driving" (i did 35 in a 55 and hydroplaned, resulting in a 1 vehicly wreck, read about in my other post) has been moved. From july 5 to july 19 at 10 AM.
I am schedualed to be in court that same day at 9:50 AM to recieve my real licence (i have the crappy paper one right now). What a way to get ****ed. If the judge is pissed that day i lose both my licence and a wad of cash to pay the fine, rather than one or the other.

There's no way you can reschedule the date of your license to a different day?
Or is there a way to get the courtdate of the traffic violation moved again?
Or is there a way to get the courtdate of the traffic violation moved again?
i could, but not without a valid reason, and because of that, if i reschedualed 1 i would have to reschedual the other
Isn't conflicting court sessions a valid reason to move only one?
Wait, wait
Urza, did you say that if you moved one of the dates you would have to move the other? Why not just move the license date farther back and leave the already moved date of your traffic violation alone?
And I think Pyro is right, conflicting court dates are definitly a valid reason. That is, at least in the American justice system, I don't know whether your in the US though.

I am in the US, but how exactly are they conflicting "I wanna reschedual so if the judge is pissed off one day, i probably wont get screwed the next day.
*points up*
You said they're both on the same day, and they appear to be within ten minutes of each other. If you can get through everything for the first one in ten minutes, I will be very surprised.

umm, if they are with the same judge, how long the first one takes wont matter.
Urza, simply call the courthouse and talk to a clerk or other scheduling person and tell them your sitaution.
"I have two court apointments and I can not miss either but the problem is they are on the same day and only 10 minutes apart. I need to find out if I can reschedule one of the two, preferrably the first one (that way you wont have a license to lose, if I have it right) to a different day so that I can avoid missing either of them"
Courts are typically very willing to change courtdates when they screw them up because it's after all, their mistake. Just don't play phone tag with officials being transferred around, ask for "Scheduling" or "Clerical" straight away, then ask them to sort it out, or if they say Scheduling is out of the building, don't let them transfer you if they offer, just ask for the number and call directly

there's like.. 1 judge in this county
Check and make sure. I would still reschedule.
I dont think they are listening to you urza.
GUYS: he lives in an area like mine. WE HAVE 1 JUDGE there are no scheduling conflicts because if the judge gets behind at his first court appearance, his second apperance is pushed back since the SAME judge is presiding.
Face it urza your just screwed if the judge is having a bad day.

Well Urza, in that case, your actually kind of lucky, you have a higher chance of him being in a fair mood because it will be earlies in the morning and he won't have sat through hours of cases getting on his nerves.
Heh, yeah, he might just have to get one someone for driving their tractor drunk to go to the store because they knew they were too drunk to drive a car. (has happened before...)
lol! heheheheh....
heh sounds like where i live, had a guy arrested about 4 months ago for drunk driving. his excuse, he couldnt stand up to walk home, driving was safer since he didnt have to stand.
or the woman who called the cops a month ago to report that her boyfriend had stolen her marajuana.

Hey here's irony....
A family sued a local bar and a waiter there for alleged "gorss negligance" leading to the death of a family member.
According to the suit filed in civil court, the deceased apparently became extremely intoxicated. The waiter in question, drove the man home. However, the man was so intoxicated that he tripped, fell, and died of trauma.
The family is sued for 2.3 Million dollars saying that the waiter should have walked the man to the door and was thus negligant...
the case was thrown out.

The cop even told me that i was lucky no one else was involved. He sees it all the time in accidents involving 2 parties, you can litteraly see dollar signs in their eyes. People just wanna make a quick buck by sueing... F**ing retards.
They're called humans, their greedy and stupid...it's all implied in the phrase "homo sapien"
