I found a tool to record vnc sessions for Linux...I hope this way that I can record my vendetta playing and such. However, it records it in .fbs format. How can I convert this? Or do I need to?

vnc does not support hardware acceleration. So you're going to have buckets of fun playing...

Ah ha! But what about x0rfbserver? It says its more suitable for video games...but I guess saying 'recording vnc sessions' probably wasn't the best term.
