Making a BloodBowl Sevens custom pitch
For those that aren't familiar, BloodBowl is a table-top board game themed around American Football, played with fantasy races such as evles, orcs, etc. "Sevens: is a smaller format of the game, designed for faster games (fewer models on the board, smaller board than the base bame).
As "Sevens" needs a custom pitch (as mentioned, it is smaller that the standard board the game comes with) I had to make my own. I could have found a printed neoprene mat or similar, but I like making things and stuff. Especially stuff.

That's awesome! Is it epoxy resin?
XPF foam (typically used as insulation, or under floorboards).
Squares are cut with a scalpel, and expanded with a ball point pen, or I make deeper "V" cuts for more defined lines. Other details are carved in. The stone texture is from rolling a ball of alfoil around on it.
It's then sealed with a mix of black acrylic paint and "ModPodge" - a PVA based sealant. Then a drybrushing of greys is all it's had so far. Many details to add yet, like side-line fences and dugout details.
