2) To be clear, are we having a thread about the character Joyleenwall, or about the character of the player behind Joyleenwall? Either (or both) could be fun...but the two are not quite the same thing. Need to know which barbs to fling, pls hndl, thx.

3) Whistler, tell me with a straight face any other forum participant would be allowed to post a "Player X's Character" thread on your watch, whether Player X had started it with an 'I dare you to' or not.

Joyless is not a forum troll because he only posts in opposition to TGFT and affiliate guilds, he has never ever posted in opposition to me.

A troll, borrowing from the original meaning of the modern term, stops everyone from crossing the bridge, he doesn't let certain people cross, he targets everyone for the sake of targeting them, he doesn't have a particular agenda but joyless does. Look at greenwall, he is exactly the same - he targets everything that is anti TGFT. Yes joyless is not very creative or articulate, but he isn't a troll because he let's me pass the bridge.

That's the first time I've seen such a narrow definition of trolling. Certainly one could have a trolling schtick that involves engaging only certain demographics/issues. The trick, as always, is distinguishing trolling for its own sake from legitimate criticism of dumbasses.

I'm still waiting for Whistler to realize that if anyone else started a thread with this title, he'd yank it.

A little context might help people understand this thread in a few weeks. And will maybe even help the sort of people that only click threads with their favorite people in them.

I have nothing against TRS because he is a very good person. Lecter, you're almost as good as him. If you'd stop calling me joyleenwall, then you'd be right up with him.

Even though I am in complete agreement that joyless is a troll, this does seem to be a conversation that should be held privately. But...since its here...

One reason joyless doesnt troll TRS, Lecter or even Rin is because he fears being ostracized from his preferred in game RP (piracy) if ever he decided to return to it. Also, given his self admitted role as professional antagonist, one can easily understand how he would idolize TRS and Lecter, who often play the role of antagonist as well, but typicially in a much more nuanced, intelligent, and clever manner.

Greenwall, I feel left out. Can you compliment me as well?

Dr.Lecter your comparison of me to the "Me-too" character is incorrect because I will (and have) point out that joylessjoker is a dumbass forum troll that doesn't offer anything positive to the forums. I will say the same to you. Though you are more articulate than joyless, you still offer nothing but negativity and self-righteous bullshit to the forums.

It's not what you're willing to sputter about that makes you Me-Too, princess. It's the manner in which you (attempt to) express your short, fuzzy little thoughts on the subject.

You'll have to elaborate on how me "+1" ing what Whistler said(agreeing with him" demonstrates the qualities of "Me-too" as described by the link you gave me. All you have brought to the table here is what I percieve as an attempt at an insult, but no true explanation or facts to back up your "claim". While greenwall's psychological evaluation is fascinating, it is unfortunately inaccurate. I don't ever fraternize with TRS, Lecter, or even Rin while he was still in FAMY. Just go and ask them. TRS isn't even a pirate. He's a serco nationalist, a role that I'm not really interested in.

I do understand why you placed him in the Big Dog category. I was just stating that he would get a chuckle out of it. Apparently law school doesn't have as difficult of a reading criteria as I thought, from the lack of that you display. You still haven't explained how I am in the "Me-too" demographic.
