It was 10 years ago today I discovered "Vendetta Test" in the bottom of a research library at the University of Chicago. 10 years later, it is still one of the best gameplay experiences I've ever had the chance to take part in. From today, I'm glad to be part of the decade club.
I also found out last week that I'm going to be a father. It's difficult to describe what kind of an emotional change this is for me, but suffice to say that every breath, thought, and action is no longer just for me. Of course, with a drastic reordering of priorities, I will not have as much time for Vendetta as I used to. You will still see me on here, and I will help out with missions and the [edited -P] like from time to time.... I'm looking forward to getting my Ouya, and at some point down the road Phaserlight Jr. may even make an appearance on here.
At any rate, thanks for the times, VO. This isn't a goodbye by any means, just a milestone. Looking forward to the next decade. :-)

Congratulations for VO decade club, and welcome to the Dad's club.
Congrats!
Hey Phaser, you have a hell of a ride ahead, good luck mate. Nothing in life has made me prouder than my two sons, they're 8 & 5 years old now.
The youngest likes to wakes up at 6am every morning and demands breakfast. So get as much sleep as you can now, you might also think about becoming a teetotaler as from experience I can tell you hangovers and babies do not mix, babies with a hangover are even worst. 8)
All the best

Congrats Phaser. 2 things to do before the day arrives:
1) Get LOTS of sleep now (esp true for the mom.)
2) Procure a rocker/recliner facing a TV or other entertaignment system that won't require much attention and no interactivity.

Audio books - besides being hands-free, they're nearly isotropic!
Congrats Phaserlight!!
It's good natured ribbing. I'm sure he's a good guy in other aspects... but just for you I'll edit it.
My oldest was about 2 when I started VO. I stayed up playing because I was on deck for the inevitable "night shift" wake up call to change and comfort him. That done, I'd go to bed. It was similar with my daughter 5 years later. They're 8 and 13 now, and I still only play after they've gone to bed.
Congratulations, Phaserlight!

The little grommet is here. 6 lbs 9 oz baby boy. If I'm on less or disappear for a while, that's why. :-)
