I was just curious who like artichokes on vendetta so now i get my thread to figure it out heh heh. Just to tell you i love artichokes.

I don't think I've ever had them...

if they're what i think they are, i cant stand em. too slimy after my parents cook em. Or i could be thinking of something else.

They look kinda like grenades, but with a bulge and a stem at the bottom. You'd think mother nature was trying to warn you about 'em by their shape or something, hehe. And yes, they're very slimy and tend to stick to your throat as you're trying to swallow. Naaasty stuff.

The best part of the plant is the stem and then teh core, mmmm dipped in butter....infact...i don't think i even eat the artichoke anymore, just the butter....mmm butter, dipped in butter.
