This is the revival of the classic Elite from way back, they're doing MMO style gameplay with procedural generation as well which is interesting. Incidently, it looks a lot like VO even in combat.

Just curious, where does it say this project will be an MMORPG? I got multiplayer, but I didn't see anything about a persistent, virtual world. They also seem to be emphasizing the procedural generation thing, which Vendetta already does.

I think it might be that E4 was supposed to be an MMO. People are getting it and E:D confused. It's going to have some wacky multiplayer. You'll be able to choose who you play the game with, if you even want to encounter other people. There's supposed to be a group that includes all players, but you can take yourself out of it.

It's complicated.
