Pirating an indie movie about indie games. That's like somewhere between irony and hypocrisy. It's almost like saying "I care enough about their problems to watch a movie about it, but not enough to not steal it."

You are both right.

I like to try before I buy, especially now after the international banking fiasco etc. etc. And before you say that that's what the trailers are for, they seldom give a true and honest account of what your actually getting; as quite a number of the films in my dvd collection can attest. I am sick to the back fucking teeth of being ripped off.

Wow, just wow.
Every minute of this movie is a goldmine of ways to label yourself as a huge, ignorant, deluded, lonely asshole. That is, every minute that isn't a slow panning shot of a guy sweeping the beach with a metal detector.

I just don't get how anyone could enjoy this piece of shit movie.
Is this the only validation people get for buying into this "indie game scene"?
"I put in hours of my life following phil fish's ugly facial hair on twitter! But it wasn't a waste! There was a movie made with him acting like a child and threatening to kill people! It's gonna be made into the nex big bang theory on showtime! I was part of something IMPORTANT!"

PS:
I think the suggestion that Guild Software is anything like any of the people involved with this project is insulting.

PPS:
If you are better informed than I, and think that the people of Guild Software are, in fact, exactly like the people involved in this movie, please don't tell me. I think even I don't deserve to have my heroes degraded that much.
