Recommended specs and bluetooth joystick?

Jun 28, 2011 Montschok link
I've found the minimim specs, but is there also a list of recommended specs available?

I'm about to create a fairly cheap (and therefore weak) linux gaming box and hook it up to the TV. I'd prefer it to be able to run VO properly :-)

Also, anyone know of a bluetooth joystick? I seem to have some issues finding one...

(No, you don't know me. I created this trial account a while ago, and never completed it. Planning to try the game again now.)

Not too many bluetooth joysticks out there. You might be able to get hacky and rig something up with a wiimote or PS3 sixaxis controller.

As for just wireless ones, I know Logitech used to make a wireless one that was similar to the Extreme 3D Pro. Personally, I'd just use a wire, but to each his own.

Hmm...

Wireless is enough tbh, doesn't actually need to be bluetooth. I just didn't think of other wireless options.

I could use a wire, but since the best location for the box would be above the TV... not a good solution in this case.

I've considered a PS3 controller, but I'm not convinced that I'll be able to configure it properly. I do have a PS3 though, so there is no harm in trying.

Wiimote... hmm... not convinced about that either tbh. The minimum distance is 1.5m, and that's the distance between the edge of the sofa to the edge of the TV, so it may not work properly.

Thanks for your suggestions :-)

I'm considering something like that atm. Planning to put as much memory as possible in it (4gb).

How would VO run at max settings using that hardware?
