Random thought on Kamikaze pilots and early TV-guided missiles
I had a random thought about kamikaze pilots, what sailors may have claimed as pilots committing suicide by flying planes directly into their large ships may have actually been an early form of radio controlled weapons. RC weapons are distinct from missiles in that they have a human controller instead of a computer controller, but otherwise are similar. An airplane could be rigged up with RC controls, including a video camera, transmitter, and RC receiver to electronically move the plane's controls. They may have been in a rush to build these new weapons, so they may have used existing planes to convert into these new giant "TV guided" rocket weapons! The technology did exist in the 1950s to transmit a TV signal wirelessly, and the tech to do so may have been quite large. Any extra space in the plane would be packed with explosives. The controller probably would have been nearby, in a regular plane loaded with humans. They may have even put dummies in the bomb / RC planes to fool the sailors into not knowing their new attack! The RC plane could be piloted to fly alongside a human plane, with a second human in a back seat of a modified regular plane / air car, keeping the RC plane nearby for transmission range issues, or the RC plane could be towed from a larger bomber then deployed like a bomb and guided by a human in the bomber.
No more LSD for this fucking idiot.
lol
Wow. That was random. And wrong. And stupid.
Suicide before dishonor, shame, capture or defeat had long been part of Japanese military culture before 1944 when kamikaze attacks were recorded. The accounts aren't just the musings of sailors - the Japanese posthumously decorated and promoted the pilots. They were appointed from volunteers (though there are allegations of coercion) and their names are known.

Forget no more LSD for the OP Doc, I'm actually seeing Alloh criticizing someone's skills with the English language... who the hell dosed me?!
I know, it's crazy. But now we can say we've seen everything.
