Modern Warfare 2 scoring mod idea

I play a lot of mw2, I'm level 62 now, almost got the ak! Anyways, I was thinking that the game places way too much emphasis on killing, and very little on staying alive or having your team win. My idea was a scoring mod, that would probably be pretty easy to make plus I've seen modded servers so I think it's possible. Anyways, it would be a standard game, let's assume hardcore team deathmatch. You would get +1 points for killing as normal, but you would also get -5 every time you die. At the end of the game it would be normal for most players to have a negative score, so at that point it would probably be good to add a positive boost curve, so blanket boost everyone's score on a curve so people don't level down for playing normally, however the highest scoring player would be the one with the highest kill:death ratio, not the player that runs forward constantly dying to reload and getting +1 suicide kills per run. I would also boost the winning team's scores by a bunch, probably after each round in a round game, or at the end of the match for team deathmatch, plus maybe winning score bonuses for the team that is winning at certain marks, such as every 3 minutes the team with the higher score gets a +5 to score counter applied at the end of the match, along with a textual indication of team winning or losing.
