Well, it's impressive for a final project for an animation class (don't know if that's what it is, but it has that feel), but it's not a good piece of storytelling. This guy/team/whatever would do well with a decent budget telling someone else's story.

It's definitely not a final project, probably an independent.

Actually, its a open source demo for a company called Blender that makes a free 3D creation suite. They have 3 films and a number of mini demo's of which this is the best imo. http://www.blender.org/

Yeah, I probably should have said 'story telling'.

damn, some people have a lot of time on their hand to animate such a film in their free time. I assume those aren't professional animators paid to create this.
