'82 XJS 5.3L V12, TBF. The V12 is tuned, but not so far as to require race gas (though it does like it).

My mechanic did the work on this beast http://www.jcna.com/library/news/2002/jcna0079.html and I'm thinking of having him replicate some of the upgrades on mine.

Damn that guy has a pretty big chip on his shoulder.. You must have really pissed him off back in the day Lecter.

Who? His mechanic?

Hehe what a coincidence, Doc. When I was travelling the city a lot, I used to stay in E Rutherford and passed the Motorcraft place a few times....

[edit] My daughter overlooking my shoulder while I was reading this ask me if I could do the same to a '67 Fiat 500... you know, for a 'city car'...

Another strange chain of coincidences: the subject of the world-famous masterpiece 'Whistler's Mother' lived in Paterson, NJ at the time of the painting.

Speaking of which, hasn't the time come for this thread to have a change in venue?

You remind me of Hobbits.

Sorry, no hobbit here. I raft guided long enough to learn that nobody wants to see hairy toes, Tosh.

Oh, I was referring to the name 'Guy Underbridge'. Of course it is referring to trolldom, but it also reminded me of 'Frodo Underhill', Frodo Baggins' cover name.

And no, nobody likes hairy toes except for follicophiliacs (sp...)
