1) Pick your victims carefully. Who do you want to engage and enrage? What social group do you wish to leave tearing at their hair and smashing their keyboard with frenzied vein-popping fury? If it's the naive Yahoo Answers is your stomping ground, although difficult to know who's trolling who. To wind up complete strangers looking for kicks or kids to groom, try Omegle. An added bonus is meeting a fellow troller and sparking up a dialogue that will leave you both feeling refreshed and warm inside. And, of course, the new kid on the block: Chatroulette. The only limit is your imagination; think hanged bodies, 2Girsl1Cup, your little bro demanding TOGTFO, the zombie apocalypse.

2) Message boards and forums. A bountiful place for wind-ups and lulz. Since internet immemorial trolls have been signing in to Christian message forums to call Jesus a zombie rapist and piss in the eyes of God. This is stating the tiresome obvious but remember: whatever forum you're in take the opposite stance, even if you believe in it.

3) It's always good to post "thurst" (the misspelling helps) or "fake" or perhaps "gay" when commenting on internet videos. The fake or gay thing is always good to use when the video is either unquestionably not fake or so awesome it froze you in time. That way people enjoying the vid will respond to your infantile goading. Because people are stupid, and spoiling for the burn of that life-affirming rage.

4) Successively trolling a troll. Hmm, this is tricky, maybe impossible, and similar to dividing 1 by 0. Not recommended, but if you can pull it off the rewards are unknown, and possibly of another dimension.

5) Pick up on spelling, you are a grammar Nazi. And when pointing out the error(s), make grammatical mistakes yourself. That way there's always the possibility of trolling random commenters who are reading the exchange.

6) Check out 4chan, the spiritual home of trolling. Study David Thorne of 27b/6, Anonymous and the revered Bloodninja - these are your gurus, your masters, your sensei.

7) Trolling doesn't just have to happen online. It can happen anywhere. Dinner parties are especially good places. As is a bar. Anywhere with drunk people. I shouldn't even need to say it, but, politics and race are always good subjects to start with.

8) Provocation is key, fan the flames of rage until you're banned from the site/forum/friends' parties. "Provoke to emote. Fan to ban." That is your mantra. Do whatever it takes. Remember: trolls are monsters.

9) If all else fails, buy this book (http://www.amazon.com/Art-Trolling-Complete-Freshwater-Methods/dp/0070572356)The Art of Trolling by Ken Schultz. It's got nothing to do with this subject, other than it shares its name, but at least you can successively troll at something.

You are not a very good troll. You have no idea how to troll. Your attempt at trolling is so poor, that the only victims it could possibly attract are trolls, and then, only because it is an insult to any dignified troll.

First) Trolls do not pick their victims. Trolls throw a wide net, and victims line up for systematic ass whipping.

second) The intended topic of a given forum is irrelevant. You can troll on any topic in any forum, and it can even be fun to troll in support of the forum's stated topic. Get some skill. Get some talent. Stop eating bull dogma.

third) the truth is a far more effective trolling tactic than obvious false statements. such primitive and lame tactics are for the untalented and unskilled. any moron can state an obvious lie. it takes talent to find a truth that is a worthy troll.

forth) trolling a troll is common practice for skilled trolls. there are many wannabe trolls, and they are fair game. they are typically the first in line for an ass whipping when a talented troll throws a net.

Fifth) spelling is for wannabe trolls. it is a sign of failure to even mention the spelling of someone that doesn't really care. It means you have no real trolling skill, and have resorted to syntax checking.

Sixth) I don't need to follow any stupid link or recommendation from you. you have not the slightest idea how to troll. so much so, that your failure to properly troll is in itself an unintentional troll of near skillful proportions. You succeeded by failing so spectacularly that the failure itself is a success of sorts.

seventh) trolling was not invented online. if you don't know how to troll irl, you will probably suck at it online. you got it completely backwards.

eighth) an amateur troll uses attempts that are so poor that a forum moderator has no choice but to ban them, just to save the troll embarrassment. a skilled troll leaves practicly no real excuse to be banned, other than every one wants them banned, but can not explain exactly why.

nine) buy what? on your recommendation? did we already cover this point? did you just come here to show us your complete ignorance on the subject, and then try to scam someone into buying some piece of nonsense book? You are far worse than a troll. You are a spammer. some one please ban this failure of a troll slash spammer.
